Health insurance is not accepted as form of payment at this time. However, a superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please check with your health insurance provider to confirm coverage and eligibility.
Motor vehicle accident (MVA) insurance may be accepted for medical massage after intake and verification of claim details. To inquire about MVA medical massage coverage, please email contact@softissue.studio
Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards are accepted for massage therapy sessions. Some plans require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). Clients are responsible for confirming eligibility with their plan administrator and obtaining any required documentation.

Cancellations require 24-hour notice to avoid a fee.
Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged in full.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session but will still be charged in full. -
It is recommended to have a light meal or snack and hydrate at least 2 hours before your session. Avoid heavy meals to ensure comfort during your appointment.
For bodywork sessions, you will have privacy to undress to your comfort level and get settled under the sheets on the table. If you prefer to remain clothed, wear light and loose-fitting clothing, preferably made of natural fibers.
After bodywork, be gentle with your body and allow time for integration. Avoid strenuous activity when possible, and drink plenty of water, especially after cupping or massage therapy, to replenish fluids and support the body’s natural clearing processes.
For scent sessions, come with openness to creative exploration. The session is guided by the senses, memory, intuition, and conversation.

To ensure a safe environment all linens are washed and surfaces are sanitized after every session. An air purifier is also in use during sessions to maintain air quality.

The studio is fragrance-free to accommodate those with sensitivities and allergies to synthetic scents. Please refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, or synthetic deodorants to your session. Your cooperation is appreciated.
If you have any sensitivities to specific botanical aromatics, please indicate them on your intake form so accommodations can be made.

Orders are prepared within 2–3 business days and shipped via USPS. Delivery times vary depending on destination. You will receive a notification with tracking as soon as your order has been processed.

Studio pick-up is available for clients attending an upcoming session or studio event, or by arrangement on Tuesday and Thursday. You will be notified when your order is ready, along with available timeframes for pickup.

Due to the nature of botanical body care products, returns and exchanges are not accepted. All sales are final.
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with an issue related to the item itself, please contact the studio within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item and packaging.

Store product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and sensitive areas. Keep out of reach of children.

Soft Issue formulations are made with botanical ingredients and poured in small batches. Because each ingredient may differ slightly according to its growing conditions, subtle variations in color, texture, or scent may occur from batch to batch.
